My career & philosophy
From the classroom to school leadership.
My career has taken me through teaching and school leadership in the U.S. and abroad. Those experiences have shaped how I understand schools: through the daily work of teachers, the experiences of students, and the communities around them.
That perspective also shaped my doctoral research at Wilkes University, where I explored rural teachers’ experiences with eLearning. Across my work, one belief remains central: meaningful school improvement begins with listening, trust, and an understanding of the local context.
